Stock level handling with ready2order

This article describes how to set up the WooCommerce ready2order plugin to handle stock.

Stock level from WooCommerce

There are two ways of changing the stock level in ready2order based in stock changing in WooCommerce:

1. Overwrite stock level in ready2order with the WooCommerce stock level.

Using this alternative any change in the WooCommerce stock level will be transferred to ready2order and replace the current stock level.

• Go to the “Export products” section of the settings.
• Check the “Automatic update” checkbox
• Check the “Stock” checkbox.

The stock level on a ready2order product will now automatically be updated whenever the stockl evel in WooCommerce changes

2. Change the stock level in ready2order based on a purchase in WooCommerce.

Using this alternative the stock level existing in ready2order will be reduced with sold items from a WooCommerce order. 

• Go to the “Stock level from order” section of the settings.
• Check the “Adjust stock level from orders” checkbox.

The stock level in ready2order will now reduce the existing stock level in ready2order with the number of sold items in any processed WooCommerce order.
